CHRIS IS AVAILABLE FOR VIRTUAL ADOPTION/SPONSORSHIP

Chris is a feral kitty we care for. We trapped him after we were notified about a cat missing his back right foot. Turns out he was either born that way or the injury was old. We were concerned Chris would be at a disadvantage out on the street missing a foot or that he might have medical issues in the future, so we brought him into one of the kitty houses for safe keeping where he's is doing quite wonderfully.  We can't touch him because he's still feral, but that's ok. He has a happy, safe life with us laying out in the sun on top of his scratching post on the catio or lying sprawled out in the kitchen doorway unfazed by us stepping over him. It is a little sad though watching him try to scratch his ear with the paw missing the foot. He just can't quite reach that ear.

CHRIS IS AVAILABLE FOR VIRTUAL ADOPTION. He's too feral to adopt out, but you can help Chris live a happy life with us by sponsoring him for $10 or more per month. Please click on the "SPONSOR ME" link on his webpage. http://www.aaflorida.org/animals/detail?AnimalID=12833366

Chris was named after Christy Brown born with cerebral palsy, who learns to paint and write with his only controllable limb - his left foot. Daniel Day-Lewis won Best Actor Oscar playing Christy in the movie, My Left Foot in 1990. The name seemed appropriate. https://m.imdb.com/title/tt0097937/?ref=m_nv_sr_1
