If you are looking for a lap cat, look no further! Rascella (aka Fangs) is one of the most cuddly kitties we have ever seen! She's adorable with her "fangs" showing when she looks up at you. Rascella loves to be held, gives the best hugs and will wrap her paws around your neck, whether you want her to or not. She came to us five years ago, along with 9 other cats from a woman in a home to be condemned. She was extremely shy at first, but has blossomed into this completely different, extreme love-bug. In a Fatal Attraction sort of way. 

It's important that Fangs finds someone willing to provide the time needed to adjust to her new home and more importantly, someone with the time Fangs will demand to sit with / lay with and be held.

In the adoption world Fangs has two strikes against her:

1) she's black and black cats have a hard time getting adopted;

2) she's an older kitty and most people aren't looking for older cats. Although older, Fangs has many years of love left to give, but she demands more love than most. 

Our volunteers absolutely love Fangs! Through no fault of her own she has been adopted and returned twice, which is heavy on our hearts. We can't imagine her being hurt again. Anyone interested in Rascella, be ready for an inquisition by her biggest fans. :)

Our adoption fees are $75.00 for any kitty 6 months of age or older. Included in each adoption: age appropriate shots, FeLV test, microchip, and spay/neuter surgery. All kitties are litterbox trained.

Prior to meeting or adopting any of our wonderful kitties, we ask that you please fill out our online Cat Adoption Application on our website aaFlorida.org. We are a foster organization and don't have set hours we are open - but we will gladly set up an appointment for you to meet any cat. Of course, you're under no obligation to adopt if you come to meet any of our fabulous felines.
