Geena was trying to cross Davis Hwy in the middle of a bad rain storm during evening rush hour traffic all by herself. A volunteer with AAFL saw her and was able to get turned around to try and save her. Mz Geena managed to get to the center median without getting hit and was waiting there to be rescued. She wasn’t trusting of humans (or anything else) but it didn’t take her long at all to adapt to the plush life of a domesticated fur baby. She is very playful and confident. She has become a great cuddle buddy, but only when she’s tired out. She like to sit on her human’s shoulder and will often sleep under the covers, with a big dog at night. Our adoption fees are $75.00 for any kitty 6 months of age or older. $85 for kittens under 6 months of age. Included in each adoption: age appropriate shots, FeLV test, microchip, and spay/neuter surgery. All kitties are litterbox trained. Prior to meeting or adopting any of our wonderful kitties, we ask that you please fill out our online Cat Adoption Application on our website aaFlorida.org.
