Our Stormy Louise is a very special girl with a heartwarming and yet sad story. She was a tiny baby when her daddy found her in the rubble of Hurricane Sally. He took her in and raised her as his own. It was just the two of them and they were an inseparable pair. He even took her to work with him as well as to weekly dinner with the folks. She was clearly devastated when her daddy passed away in August. She initially yowled every morning at their normal wake up time because she missed her daddy. Daddy's family tried to take her in, but they all have other cats and she made it clear that she was not interested in sharing her human with other animals. Someone else in our rescue gave it a try also, but she is adamant about being the only Diva in the house. She has unique physical characteristics with a bob tail and extra toes (Polydactyl). She has an abundance of personality and more than a bit of cattitude and is very playful. She will need an experienced cat servant who can be patient and sensitive to her Diva-Tude. Our adoption fees are $75.00 for any kitty 6 months of age or older. $85 for kittens under 6 months of age. Included in each adoption: age appropriate shots, microchip, and spay/neuter surgery. All kitties are litterbox trained. Prior to meeting or adopting any of our wonderful kitties, we ask that you please fill out our online Cat Adoption Application on our website aaFlorida.org/adopt.
