Mad Max and his brother Chaplin were found in the street literally crying for help. His little body was overrun with fleas, he was lethargic and refused to eat. His rescuer got him to the vet where he received sub-q fluids and bottle feedings. Max is recovered and has learned to trust, love and play. Max is very playful and adventurous. He remains "on the go," playing all day with his foster roomies, but at night he loves to snuggle in his bed. Max seems to love his brother the most and prefers to snuggle with him over the humama. We think Max would do best in a home with another kitty, like his brother Chaplin. He currently lives with bigger cats, kittens and dogs. Max is not (yet) a lap kitty. Our adoption fees are $75.00 for any kitty 6 months of age or older. $85 for kittens under 6 months of age. Included in each adoption: age appropriate shots, microchip, and spay/neuter surgery. All kitties are litterbox trained. Prior to meeting or adopting any of our wonderful kitties, we ask that you please fill out our online Cat Adoption Application on our website aaFlorida.org/adopt.
