Yellow Dog is so named because he truly acts more like a dog than a cat. He is the greeter and will follow you around all day and enjoys being pat as opposed to pet. Yellow Dog is a sweet boy whose owner passed away in January and he needs a new companion to be loyal to. Yellow Dog couldn’t care less about other cats. He doesn’t need to be an only pet, but we think he would prefer it. Kittens bother him, they get in his way. Ideal situation for Yellow Dog: Retired couple? Single man? Screened-in porch? Yellow Dog wants to be with you, to follow you around and “help” with whatever you are doing. He wants you to talk to him and to let him drink from the faucet. Nobody applies for Yellow Dog, but everyone wants Yellow Dog when they come visit the Catio.

Yellow Dog’s adoption fee is $75.  Included in each adoption: age appropriate shots, microchip, and spay/neuter surgery. All kitties are litterbox trained.

Prior to meeting or adopting any of our wonderful kitties, we ask that you please fill out our online Cat Adoption Application on our website aaFlorida.org/adopt.  There is a link on the top of the home page. Click on "Fill in", you don't have to register.  For more information about this kitty or any others, you can contact us at Adoptions@aaFlorida.org.  We are a foster organization and don't have set hours we are open - but we will gladly set up an appointment for you to meet any cat.  Of course, you're under no obligation to adopt if you come to meet any of our fabulous felines.
